how to celebrate one of the biggest steps
of your entire life....
Step 1. Receive good news phone call from realtor and sound excited.
Step 2. Hang up the phone and die a little on the inside due to shock, scared, excitement.
Step 3. Consider breaking down into tears while going over
the same budget 800 more times.
(budget is fine, but wife still wants to wet herself.)
Step 4. Go to new house with camera and take 500 pictures. Stand outside and listen to the neighborhood for 20 minutes straight. Hang out at neighborhood park to get a feel for things. Be happy, but mildy freak out some more.
Step 5. Put children to bed and run to your favorite local cupcake shop. Devour favorite flavor in front of your favorite show with your favorite person ever.
Step 7. Which really was before all previous steps. Kneel down and pray to your heavenly father that this is right, that no short sale in the history of time has ever gone so quick and smoothly, and that you will love it, and will survive financially.
(People have purchased homes and not died before right?)

That house looks so cute!! Congrats! It IS freaky buying your first house, but it's either rent or a mortgage...no biggie. ;)
