OMG

I must put my foot in my mouth. HOLY HELL. I was mearly putting bedding away this morning when lifting a pillow off the floor I met this guy. Scream I did not. I remained as calm as possible and bolted to the kitchen for a glass. Trapped his sorry ace and then immediately started spraying more in our bedroom.

I was NOT feeding him, I put the jolly rancher in there for size comparison. This effer is huge. Does anyone know what kind he is?

OMG ewwwwwww.

thank you for scaring the crap out of me so early in the morning!! I probably would've passed out had I encountered this in person. You are a brave, brave, woman.

Ewww! Ya that thing is disgusting! Be careful, you probably already know this, but when we moved into our house we had a ton of problems with bugs, and there aren't really any treatments that are that safe to use when you are preggers:( SO, I'm sure you know what you're doing, but please at least make Kevin do the spraying from now on. Also, my doctor told me that if I couldn't stand it and had to have our house treated while I was pregnant, then I needed to wear shoes whenever I was on a carpeted surface- I guess you absorb a ton of stuff, chemicals included, through your feet:( Good Luck, I hate bugs, and hate them even more when I'm preggers cause you can't do jack about it:(

That is a Hobo spider. I know this because they are the bane of my existence. They are giant, and aggressive (will run towards you instead of away), and come inside for about 2 months during the summer to...um, mate. Terrific. They do bite, and although they are not poisonous, the bite usually get really infected. Ugh! Happy hunting.
