7/5/10

Sincerely, the whinner.

Ah yes the weather. Something we have no control over, and wish I could! You see I do appreciate all 4 seasons. They are all unique and bring different things to the table. I am just not always in the mood for what they are cooking.

SPRING

Seems to be a complete favorite. Everything is blossoming and turning green. It's still cool enough to enjoy being outside. It makes me think of softball games and golfing.
SUMMER
This is by far my LEAST favorite. I don't like the heat. I know you are thinking it's only because I am pregnant, but really it's not the reason. I don't like being sweaty, or sticky. I don't like that once you are down to a light t shirt and shorts, there is not a lot else you can do to cool off. Our air conditioning BLASTS during the summer time (although we don't have thermostat control where we live, luckily they are good about keeping it on...most of the time, or I can call and ask them to). I would have it on 24/7 if it were up to me, along with a slurpee. I guess it's because we live in Utah, not Cd'a and there is no lake! I lost my pool access, but can't complain too much. Or can i!
FALL
Oh how I love thee. Yes. My favorite by far. I enjoy the harvest, the color changing, the cooler weather. The decorations, the food. My list could go on and on. It's such a short lived season though, what a bummer.
WINTER
Now call me as crazy as you want but some days I honestly prefer the winter over the summer. WHAT!? Yes. It's true. I can always throw on another layer than in the summer I just sweat through my misery. I don't feel this way in all situations. It's easier to get yourself and children dressed in the summer. No coats and tatrums by the front door, no wet jeans. Although I do love cuddling up in sweats, and having a fire roasting. Once past January, I am pretty much done with winter.
Which season is your favorite?

Wow, Suz --- we are kindred spirits for sure :) I thought I was the only one on the planet who didn't like summer. Same complaints, sticky skin is GROSS :)

I love living in a place that actually has four seasons because even though I do love the summer, I'm pretty sure I would hate it if it lasted all year. I need a good winter storm every now and then.
