and I am a S.A.H.M. (Stay at home Mom). Wheh. I really wasn't sure what to think of it at first. I found myself restless and bored at times, or so busy I wanted to pull each strand of hair from my fat head.
A few things that I didn't know would happen to me are......
I would become by far the biggest cheap ass alive. I suppose this is because I don't contribute to anything financially, but for pete's sake I work dang hard all day.
I've had the same nursing bra since Cody's birth. It's not purty like this one below, and I definetly don't get the seducing look in my eye when I pull down my flap. It's waaaay to big around, so what did I do? Had my Mother alter it. Pin the fabric and took it in. Then 2 days ago the wire poked through........GRRR.....I got out a needle and thread and sewed the hole shut. Then to make sure it wouldn't happen again, hot glued it shut.
Take that you no selling waste of space!
My whole life is spoken through a blog, obvi, or a text message. This was you don't have to hear me verbally abusing my toddler, or know if I am annoyed. Also this way I can reply when I am ready, and not have to seem bright eyed and bushy tailed.
The whoooooole back of my car would constantly be covered in popcorn. whaaaat!? Yeah. And you want to know why? Because I think it's MY right to get to go to Target once in a while. And you'll never guess what they sell there. POPCORN.
Popcorn+antsy toddler = at least 30 minutes of semi peace and quite.
Then he takes the leftovers and drills them at his brother the whole drive home.
What can you do.
And last but not least. You are willing to keep the peace by watching Shrek at least 2 times a day, just so you can nurse, and your kid will keep happy. Which keeps Momma happy....which then leads to Momma being nice to Daddy when he gets home.
You see the cycle here?
Little did I know that the 2 baby bumps I've sported over the last 2 years would change my life sooo drastically.
Hardly any showers, sweat pants, and picking off your kids plate when they are done eating.
But I have to say I still would not have it any other way.
I love you Kevin.
I love you Cody.
And I love you Trey.
You 3 boys are my world.
